To comment on a printed document, you might write your feedback on a sticky note and attach it to the page. Your comment doesn't change the document's contents, but it remains clearly visible until someone reads it and removes it. Word 2007 enables this function through its Comments function. Comments extend the page's apparent width and attach annotations as sticky notes within the new pane. You might use these notes when editing a proposal's draft, attaching your suggested improvements.
